I recently switched over to Mac, and purchased a new MacBook Pro, but found that the computer did not have enough ram for everything I am doing (large photoshop files etc.) I was wondering if there is any way that I could get external ram or some type of upgrade for my computer. USB 2 is limited to 480Megabits/second a theoretical max data transfer rate of 60 MegaBytes/second. There is a difference between whether or not you can cobble together hardware in some fashion, and whether or not that hardware can be used (whether intended or not) in such a fashion.
